Social Skills Training

Social skills training incorporates behavioral approaches for teaching appropriate social skills and competencies, including communication (making small talk, as well as establishing and maintaining eye contact), problem solving, decision making, self-management, and peer relations.  The goal is to improve the individual’s ability to function in everyday social and employment situations.  Training may include individual and group sessions, as well as role playing.
