Toileting/Grooming Issue

Individuals can experience toileting limitations due to a variety of medical impairments. Accommodation needs will vary depending upon the impairment but may be related to needing to use the restroom urgently or frequently, needing more time to take-care of personal needs in the restroom, having difficulty accessing the restroom, traveling for work, or commuting.  Possible solutions may include implementing frequent restroom breaks, moving the individual’s workstation closer to the restroom, making the restroom accessible, a flexible work schedule, or working from home. Accommodations can come in a variety of solutions for a specific limitation. See below for some ideas to help you get started.
